Mum was worried about her two-year-old. We supported mum and gave her details of extra services that might be of use.

She’s been coming back to stay & play each week and said she’s happy to see her daughter join in. Her daughter explores more during the session and Mum has started chatting to other parents who attend each week.

“I think the course has been very good. My kids have benefitted from me attending as now I know when they throw tantrums sometimes why they don’t calm down”.

“We are now happily breastfeeding and expressing without any issues and I know if anything was to pop up that the girls aren’t too far away. I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again the support is so so valuable and I feel very lucky to have the support. If it wasn’t for the breastfeeding together ladies I genuinely think I would’ve given up and wouldn’t know what I know today! Angels in disguise this squad!”

“I contacted Breastfeeding Together when my little boy was 3 weeks old. I was having difficulty and pain from feeding from one of my breasts. They arranged a home visit and was able to identify and support with attachment which significantly helped. The support then continued for a few weeks via phone calls and texts and follow up visits when I needed them, which reassured me that my positioning and attachment was improving. A few weeks later things were pain free and my little boy successfully feeds from both breasts. I honestly don’t think I would still be breastfeeding if it wasn’t for the support from Sarah and the Breastfeeding Together team.
