Bolton Children’s Opportunity Group (COG) a local registered charity,
offers fully inclusive play sessions Monday – Friday for children aged 2 – 5 years.
Speech, Occupational & Physiotherapists, Health Visitors, Social Workers and Educational Psychologists regularly visit.
COG is registered with Early Years OFSTED.
BLUE ROOM (High Needs Base)
This is a small nursery unit for children with
Autistic Spectrum Conditions aged 2 – 5. Catering for up to 4 children in either the morning or afternoon sessions
The Blue Room receives funding from BMBC
NURTURE GROUP
offers support to young children, with challenging behaviours, who find it difficult to access the Foundation Stage Curriculum.
Children can have a 6 weeks assessment place, or a 3 to 4 term placement, whilst still maintaining links with their mainstream Primary School.
Schools are charged for this service.
BOLTON INFORMATION & ADVISORY SERVICE (SEND)
offers advice on E.H.C. Plans, reviews and transition plans for children and young people with special educational needs up to the age of 25 years.
This service is commissioned by the Local Authority.
