Breastfeeding Together is a registered Charity founded in 2015 for the advancement of health, for the public benefit, through the provision of skilled help and support for the health and wellbeing of children and families.
We have been effectively supporting families since 2015 providing pregnancy, parenting and infant feeding help and support to women, both emotionally and practically in a variety of ways through peer support.
The objects and purpose of our charity is to: Improve health and wellbeing, improve parental mental health, support the transition to parenthood, supporting optimal feeding practices, reduce health inequalities and improve family circumstances.
We aim to help to increase the initiation and continuation of breastfeeding and optimal infant feeding practices, as these help to improve overall public health and reduce health inequalities. We are a specialist service, we provide free support in a variety of ways including provide weekly face to face drop-in groups, a weekly online group, well-being walking groups, community home visits, 1:1 online consultations, live web chat, phone/text support, online parenting forum, pregnancy and parenting online sessions and breastpump hire.
