Forest Frontiers C.I.C began its journey in January 2021, born out of the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. As our organisation grew, we became a beacon of community spirit and connection, evolving into a vibrant entity in our own right. Since then, we’ve been dedicated to bringing the wonders of nature to children, young people, and families across our community.
Our projects are diverse and inclusive, offering opportunities for everyone to explore the great outdoors and improve their mental well-being. Whether it’s Home Ed Families, Young adults with SEND, Foster children, children under 5 years old or school children needing extra support, we’re here to empower them all.
What started as a one-person operation has blossomed into a team of over seven passionate individuals. We’re honoured to have been recognised with the Bolton Business Awards 2022 Heart of the Community award and to have been finalists in the Women in Bolton Business Awards for two consecutive years.
Partnering with organisations like Woodland Trust, Bolton CVS, Bolton Council, and others, we’re on a mission to make Forest School accessible to all. Together, we’re tackling environmental issues and promoting mental health and well-being in our community. Since our inception, we’ve touched the lives of over 4000 children, and we’re immensely proud of the positive impact we’ve made. Join us on our journey as we continue to grow and connect with nature, one adventure at a time.
