Reach Family Project

Reach Family Project was founded in 2013, providing early intervention family support to children & families in need. Our Befriending service launched in 2020 providing support for the elderly and isolated and in 2021 Reach Family Project received CIO status.

In our 10 years of operation, our Children & Families team have successfully supported many families across the Bolton Borough. The 3 main services we provide are; Weekly Home Support – working with all family members to an agreed Action Plan, Group Parenting Courses – held across communities. These can also be made available as 1:1 sessions if needed, Weekly Drop In – available to all parents/carers to access friendship, support and guidance.

In addition we do an annual Christmas Gift Appeal and provide half term lunches twice a year. Our vision is that no one will feel excluded from society, lonely or forgotten, but instead know that they are valued. We carry out this vision by aiming to improve the quality of life of both children and families, and those who are elderly and isolated.

Our values are that we always go the extra mile to show love and care for our communities, and to be reactive to the changing needs
