At KRIMMZ Girls Youth Club, we deliver an award-winning programme of physical, social and confidence-building activities for people aged 5 plus from diverse ethnic communities living in areas of deprivation across Bolton. Led by local community leaders with lived experience, our weekly activities improve physical and mental wellbeing, encourage social interaction and support the personal development of more than 450 participants who otherwise face social, cultural, faith and socio-economic barriers that limit their opportunity for a positive and prosperous future.
Our primary focus is on fostering social welfare and inclusion through a range of recreational, leisure, and health-improving initiatives. Our activities are not limited to but predominantly include sports and physical activities, alongside enrichment projects like sewing, cooking, and various workshops aimed at personal and professional development.
At KRIMMZ, we recognise the unique challenges faced by ethnic minority communities, particularly in deprived areas. Therefore, our efforts are geared towards the advancement of education and overall well-being, helping our participants develop in mental, physical, and spiritual capacities. Through our projects, we strive to enhance the quality of life for our members empowering them to become confident and active members of their community.
