Great Lever Voice

We have 25 to 30 young people who attend the Great Lever Voice.  We have 4 groups which are:

9 to 13 year olds attend a Keeping Safe Project.  Here they learn how to keep themselves safe. For example, safe guarding. Awareness of drugs, alcohol and smoking, Keeping safe on the streets, health and safety, road safety and lots more. After learning they fill in worksheets and understanding of these topics Afterwards they make crafts and play team games.

9 to 13 years olds are taught the skills of boxing which keeps them fit and healthy.

16 – 19 years olds are learning how to pass the CSCS card which will help then get a job in the construction industry. They are also studying a Level 2 in H & S in the workplace which is also a useful qualification to achieve.

14 -19 years old are studying a Level I qualification in Food Hygiene which is also a useful qualification to achieve if you want to be in the Catering and Entertainment Industry
