Recreate – U

At Recreate-U, we are passionate about helping people learn and grow so they can achieve their full potential. We do this by teaching tools and techniques that help people of all ages manage their mental health, improve their wellbeing and learn new skills.

Recreate-U CIC was founded in 2020 by qualified, experienced teachers and works with children, families and schools in our community to improve wellbeing and educational attainment. Our expertise and experience in schools makes us uniquely well-placed to understand the context children and families are working in, the challenges they face and the support that they need. Our range of educational and wellbeing services, programmes, activities and events to support children, families and the community includes: 1-1 and small-group wellbeing sessions for children and adults, HAF holiday clubs, after-school wellbeing and allotment gardening clubs, primary-age tutoring, and our new Best Start school readiness programme for toddlers, social prescribing activities such as our adult and child and adults-only gardening and wellbeing groups at the RHS Bridgewater Community Grow, and our Walk and Talk with an offer of fully funded counselling. We are now also in the process of becoming a recognised alternative education provider.
